About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Medical Imaging department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning them, adjusting immobilization devices, and operating diagnostic equipment.
  • Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff by practicing radiation safety.
  • Process images and prepare rooms with necessary equipment and supplies for procedures.
  • Ensure a positive patient experience by maintaining accurate records, scheduling patients, and overseeing patient transportation.

Requirements:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist, preferred.
