Key Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive initial assessments to identify patient strengths, weaknesses, and challenges, ensuring all intake documentation is thoroughly completed.
- Utilize suitable therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Design and implement psychological strategies to assist clients in reaching their personal goals.
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions.
- Provide vocational, experiential, and family counseling as necessary.
- Collaborate with community resources to coordinate comprehensive client services.
- Deliver crisis intervention when required and maintain precise documentation.
- Offer telephonic support to families and clients as needed.
- Ensure compliance by maintaining a valid state license and professional insurance.
- Contribute insights and feedback to the treatment team regarding patient progress.
- Possession of an active professional license.
- Experience working with populations such as those with schizophrenia, chronic mental illness, homelessness, and substance abuse issues.
- Thorough knowledge of counseling and group therapy methodologies.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices.
- Dynamic and enthusiastic personality.
- Self-driven and motivated individual.
- Proactive and capable of working independently.
