Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive initial assessments to identify patient strengths, weaknesses, and challenges, ensuring all intake documentation is thoroughly completed.
  • Utilize suitable therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Design and implement psychological strategies to assist clients in reaching their personal goals.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Provide vocational, experiential, and family counseling as necessary.
  • Collaborate with community resources to coordinate comprehensive client services.
  • Deliver crisis intervention when required and maintain precise documentation.
  • Offer telephonic support to families and clients as needed.
  • Ensure compliance by maintaining a valid state license and professional insurance.
  • Contribute insights and feedback to the treatment team regarding patient progress.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Possession of an active professional license.
  • Experience working with populations such as those with schizophrenia, chronic mental illness, homelessness, and substance abuse issues.
  • Thorough knowledge of counseling and group therapy methodologies.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices.
