We are currently seeking a proficient Cloud Infrastructure Administrator to join our organization.

The Cloud Infrastructure Administrator will be tasked with managing and maintaining our AWS environment, ensuring its seamless operation and optimal performance.

This role requires close collaboration with IT Operations and Applications Development teams, providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and implementing enhancements to our cloud infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee existing AWS accounts, establish new accounts, and configure security and access control settings.
  • Design, configure, deploy, and sustain AWS services, including EC2 instances, S3 storage, RDS databases, Lambda functions, and VPCs.
  • Implement security measures for AWS resources, manage IAM policies, monitor for security threats, and respond to incidents.
  • Work with the Network Operations team to set up and manage AWS networking components, including VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, and VPN connections.
  • Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
  • Configure monitoring tools to track the performance and health of resources, as well as logging for system and application analysis.
  • Utilize automation tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CLI to streamline resource deployment and management.
  • Develop backup and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard critical data and services.
  • Monitor and optimize resource utilization to enhance efficiency and manage costs.
  • Provide secondary support for other environments as necessary.
  • Stay informed about the latest AWS technologies and trends, recommending process improvements and optimizations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated experience as an AWS Administrator or in a similar cloud administration role.
  • Strong knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPCs, IAM, Lambda, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud automation tools, such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Understanding of security best practices for cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom Workplace, and project management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Git, Docker, etc.).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
  • Experience with Clumio for backup and recovery of AWS assets.
  • Previous experience with Windows Server OS and Red Hat Enterprise Linux OS.
