About the Job

This part-time role is perfect for someone who is passionate about music, news, and sports, and wants to make a difference in the lives of listeners. As a Promotions Assistant, you will be responsible for promoting a positive station image, engaging with consumers, and maintaining a professional attitude at all times.

Responsibilities
  • Execute assigned on-site appearances, promotional activities, and special projects as assigned by management.
  • Assist promotions and sales staff with station promotional activity inside and outside the station.
  • Facilitate, attend, and execute appearance on-site set up and station visibility.
  • Be in charge of executing on-location station/client activations and promotions to increase audience interaction and engagement.
  • Perform other marketing/promotional department duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
  • Candidates must be organized and possess good communication skills.
  • Have intermediate computer and administrative skills, and be able to work flexible hours, including holidays, weekends, and evening hours.
  • Must be a self-starter, able to multitask, pay attention to detail, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Must have a positive/upbeat attitude when dealing with customers/listeners.
  • A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and proof of insurance (if applicable) are required.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
