Mixologist for a Tropical Pool Bar Experience

Marlin Bay Resort & Marina, located at the heart of Marathon in the Middle Keys, is seeking an experienced Mixologist to join our team as a part-time Bartender. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional service to our guests at our pool bar.
About Marlin Bay
We are a small luxury vacation rental community and marina that provides a tranquil retreat for those seeking relaxation and adventure. Our guests enjoy a range of activities and amenities, including access to a private beach, swimming pool, and marina.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, including cocktails, beers, and soft drinks, to our guests. You will work independently, managing your own shifts and inventory, with the flexibility to adjust to changing demands based on weather and occupancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, and soft drinks, to our guests.
- Manage your own shifts, restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service, building rapport with guests and responding to their needs and preferences.
- Assess customers' needs and make recommendations on drink options.
- Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all food and beverage regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a bartender or mixologist.
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
- Computer literacy and ability to manage inventory and orders efficiently.
- Positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and ability to interact with adults and children.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift 45lbs.
Benefits
This part-time position offers a competitive salary of approximately $35,000 per year, with opportunities for tips and bonuses based on performance. As a valued member of our team, you will also receive a valid Florida Driver's License and reliable transportation requirements.
