We are seeking a skilled Pump Technician to join our team at Insight Global. As a Pump Technician, you will play a crucial role in the disassembly, repair, and reassembly of industrial pump systems for various industries.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform approximately 50% field work, utilizing company-provided trucks, to inspect and repair pumps, motors, controls, pipes, and valves for clients.
- Conduct approximately 50% hands-on shop work, inspecting parts, sandblasting, ordering components, painting, and testing systems.
- Work with Mill/Lathe machining and welding, if skilled.
- Handle sewage, hazardous liquids, confined spaces, and high voltage.
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and company staff.
- Use basic computer and blueprint reading skills.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial pump diagnosis and repair.
- Reliable and able to work independently.
- Driver's license with a clean record and ability to pass a drug test.
- Basic computer knowledge and good verbal and written communication skills.
- Military experience or ability to accept coaching.
- Machining experience with manual Lathe or Mill.
- Welding skills, including TIG, MIG, and Stick.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
