Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and uphold the Ulbrich Quality Management System;
- Create, maintain, and submit documentation for customer-required packages, including PPAP, PFO, FMEA, SPC, and gauge R&R;
- Oversee documentation preparation for customer on-site inspections;
- Assist the Quality Manager in implementing and maintaining an ISO-9001 or AS-9100 certified quality management system;
- Serve as the primary contact for customer complaints related to documentation and compliance;
- Lead internal and supplier audits as the Lead Auditor;
- Implement continual improvement initiatives and corrective action processes.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related technical field is preferred;
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing quality management, quality engineering, or Six Sigma methodologies;
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with proficiency in MS Office.
Additional Qualifications:
- Certification as a Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or Quality Engineer is preferred;
- Experience in an AS9100 or ISO-9001 certified environment;
- Comprehensive understanding of lean principles and root cause analysis;
- Proficiency in statistical data analysis and problem-solving;
- Ability to interpret customer specifications and manufacturing requirements;
- Team-building skills across all organizational levels;
- General knowledge of performance management metrics (KPIs).
