Wood Powder Coating Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Wood Powder Coating Manager to oversee the daily workflow of our powder coat line. The ideal candidate will have experience with wood, cabinetry, or store fixture industry and possess strong process engineering skills.

• Production Management: Schedule and organize staff to ensure proper staffing, manage and lead a team of 8-12 employees, and oversee the daily activities of loading and unloading materials on the powder coat line.
• Technical Knowledge: Have complete technical knowledge of an automated coating line and oven, supervise powder coat employees in the daily activities of loading and unloading materials, and ensure line loading/density practices to avoid line stoppage and assure maximum output per shift.
• Maintenance and Quality Control: Supervise general maintenance on oven, washer, dry off oven, conveyor, and powder coating equipment, track and ensure accuracy of steel product moving in and out of the department, and verify material is accurate to sales order specifications.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Collaborate with Paint and Operations Managers on performance evaluations, merit increases, and disciplinary procedures, and ensure a safe and clean working environment.

The company has two shifts and is quite busy. We utilize Komo CNC Machines, WEEKE operators, and Sanders, as well as Router CIM. If you are a motivated and experienced professional looking for a challenging role, please apply.
