- Clinical Expertise: Utilize your extensive knowledge of nutrition and dietetics to develop and implement evidence-based clinical programs and services.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor a team of dietitians and diet technicians, providing coaching and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Communication and Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between the nutrition team and other healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Quality Improvement: Drive quality improvement initiatives and projects to enhance patient care and services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Education and Training: Provide education and training to food service staff and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals on nutrition-related topics and best practices.
- Education: Master's degree in Nutrition or a related field, with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
- Credentials: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities, the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire.
- Experience: 6 years of experience in planning, managing, and organizing resources within short/medium timeframes within the overall policy framework, with 5 years of experience as an experienced specialized practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to specialists.
