Physician Assistant - ENT Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our esteemed ENT group, located just 30 minutes outside of Norfolk. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and manage medical ENT conditions for patients, with a focus on improving overall healthcare outcomes for ENT service populations.
  • Collect, organize, and assess comprehensive medical history documentation, under the supervision of a physician.
  • Recommend and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures aligned with corporate science-based, outcome-oriented healthcare initiatives.
  • Provide technical guidance and counseling on healthcare-related issues for ENT populations.
  • Perform complete history and physicals for ENT patients, read audiograms, and order appropriate vestibular and audiological tests.
  • Conduct nasal endoscopy, nasopharyngoscopy, and flexible laryngoscopy, as well as incision and drainage of superficial abscesses and fluid collections.
  • Perform simple biopsies of skin and mucosal lesions, provide treatment and counsel patients, and utilize theoretical knowledge of biology, chemistry, physiology, anatomy, and pathology principles to solve practical problems and provide practical solutions related to the prevention and management of healthcare issues.

Requirements:

  • Certification as a Physician Assistant
  • Experience in ENT medicine
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
