Your Key Responsibilities
- Examine assigned work orders to ensure accuracy of parts, documentation, engineering specifications, and materials requisition.
- Conduct thorough inspections of all housings, castings, liners, and components to identify any defects.
- Prepare components for assembly by eliminating paint, grease, or other contaminants from specified areas.
- Perform meticulous inspections of assembled PCV components to verify compliance with specifications and dimensional accuracy.
- Execute pressure tests on units and subassemblies as necessary.
- Prepare PCV assemblies for painting by trimming excess liner materials and gaskets from joints and seams, and cleaning areas contaminated with grease and silicone.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace to support manufacturing operations.
- Ensure safe working conditions by following FLSmidth safety protocols and regulations.
- Properly care for company-provided uniforms.
- Carry out additional related tasks as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferred experience in a manufacturing or production setting, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Capability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Aptitude to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
- Ability to address problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including but not limited to fire hazards, compressed gases, electrical, chemical, and mechanical devices.
