We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced High-Precision Machinist to join our team at Feufo Inc. in Danville, VA. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge CNC machinery and contribute to critical manufacturing projects.

Job Overview

This role involves performing complex machining tasks, including setup and operation of manual or CNC horizontal boring mills, vertical machining centers, and lathes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-precision manufacturing and be skilled in interpreting complex blueprints, working with materials such as aluminum and steel, and maintaining tight tolerances.

Responsibilities
  • Operate manual or CNC horizontal boring mills, machining centers, or lathes to produce high-precision components
  • Interpret and work from complex blueprints and specifications
  • Select appropriate feeds, speeds, and work holding equipment to maintain tolerances and finishes
  • Use measuring tools like micrometers, dial indicators, and calipers to ensure accuracy
  • Operate overhead cranes for material handling and maintain daily production records
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5–7 years of machinist experience (7+ years for higher experience tier)
  • Relevant defense industry experience is highly preferred
  • Experience in CNC programming and machining processes
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
