Admissions Counselor II

Malvern Treatment Centers is seeking a highly skilled Admissions Counselor II to join our team at our Malvern-King Road campus. This full-time position is responsible for providing telephonic and in-person risk assessments, crisis intervention, and initial contact with referral sources and potential patients.

• Conduct thorough risk assessments and crisis intervention to ensure patient safety
• Coordinate the referral and intake process, including completing required computer data entry
• Determine the appropriate level of care for patients and facilitate the admission process
• Maintain effective communication with referral sources, families, patients, and unit staff
• Assist the Physician with face-to-face clinical assessments, including the history of presenting illness, family dynamics, and supporting psychosocial information

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Human Services field, or licensed RN or Masters in Social Work
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
• Proficiency in MS Office and EMR software
