**Job Description**

GFL Environmental is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Repair Professional to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our heavy equipment fleet.

**Estimated Salary:** $55,000 - $75,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Inspect and test drive vehicles to ensure they are road-ready and meet safety standards.
  • Collaborate with senior mechanics and supervisors to prioritize repairs and optimize maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.

**Requirements:**

  • 3+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred.
  • ASE certifications in heavy equipment mechanics a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
