Clinical Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director to join our team at ChenMed. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our primary care centers, ensuring high-quality patient care, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Direct the clinical operations of multiple primary care centers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, reduce costs, and enhance the overall patient experience.
- Lead a team of medical directors and clinical staff, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the company's reputation.
- Monitor and analyze clinical metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop and maintain relationships with payers, specialists, and other external stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
- MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or similar specialty required.
- A minimum of 2 years' clinical experience required; 3 years preferred.
- Strongly prefer one (1) year's previous experience as Medical Director or equivalent with a Medicare or Medicaid patient population.
- Board eligibility is required; Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or similar is preferred.
- Current, active license to practice medicine in the State of employment.
- High-performing physician with a proven track record of clinical leadership experience.
- Must have completed all internal physician training and have attained partnership.
- Experience with population risk management or complex chronic disease care management.
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams in quality improvement and/or medical/healthcare leadership activities preferred.
