ROLE OVERVIEW

Under the supervision of the Site Director and the Medical Director, you will provide exceptional patient care by assessing and treating individuals as instructed by their primary healthcare provider.

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and deliver treatments tailored to each patient's physical therapy requirements.
  • Develop evidence-based therapeutic plans and objectives for every patient.
  • Execute prescribed physical therapy interventions with physician endorsement.
  • Accurately document all patient care activities.
  • Engage in reviews of treatment plans and patient evaluations.
  • Manage billing processes efficiently.
  • Communicate care strategies effectively to referral sources and payors.
  • Oversee physical therapy services rendered by assistants and students as necessary.
  • Provide educational resources to various stakeholders.
  • Maintain required licensure and pursue continuing education opportunities.
  • Exemplify and advocate for core values of teamwork, respect, compassion, and excellence.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Completion of an accredited physical therapy program with a valid State of CT Physical Therapy License. A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

This role is suitable for candidates from recent graduates to seasoned Physical Therapists.
