Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Intensive Care Unit team at ChristianaCare. As a critical care nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
About the Role
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, lab results, and medication administration
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements
- BSN required; ADNs with commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire may be considered
- At least one year of acute care experience; BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; collaborative approach to patient care
