We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Department Director to join our team at Ochsner Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the radiology department, overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, and ensuring the effective management of resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient care and satisfaction.
- Supervise and manage a team of radiology professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and best practices.
Requirements
- Master's degree in healthcare administration or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in radiology management, with 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography.
- Licensed by the Louisiana State Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an ambulatory setting.
- Membership in professional organizations on a local, state, or national level.
