Industrial Electrical Automation Specialist

Michael Foods Inc. offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year for an experienced Automation Technician to join our team at the Wakefield production facility.

The ideal candidate will have a strong industrial electrical background with five years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food processing. Experience in mechanical systems and pneumatics is also beneficial.

This role involves working independently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and providing technical leadership to other technicians. The Automation Technician will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and automation systems within the production facility, using advanced network troubleshooting skills and expertise in Allen Bradley/Rockwell automation software.

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills, able to interpret electrical schematics, troubleshoot process issues with automation software, and work effectively with internal and external resources to resolve complex issues.

The successful candidate will possess a two-year certificate from a college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience. A strong understanding of mathematical concepts, including algebra, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
