Job Overview

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join their team in a critical care setting. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading healthcare provider and make a real difference in the lives of patients.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week. The benefits package includes weekly pay and direct deposit, full coverage of all credentialing fees, private housing or housing allowance, group health insurance for you and your family, tax-free stipends, company-paid life and disability insurance, travel reimbursement, and access to our Clinical Nurse Liaison Team.

Job Responsibilities

As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating MRI scanners, assisting in the diagnosis of disease and injury. You will also ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors who come into contact with the powerful magnetic field of the MRI scanner. Other responsibilities include positioning patients and coils on the table that slides inside the MRI scanner, injecting contrast media as required, setting appropriate technical parameters, operating MRI scanners and related equipment, and observing image data on computer monitors during scans.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology, valid state radiology registration as required by state law, and at least 18 months of experience as an MRI Tech in a critical care setting. Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology is also highly preferred.
