Role Summary

In this role, the Senior Financial Analyst will be integral to monitoring the financial health of the organization. Collaborating with a diverse team, you will be tasked with developing, interpreting, and executing financial strategies for planning and oversight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical analyses to assess current and future financial performance.
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize recommendations for financial strategies, acquisition initiatives, projected needs, and operational forecasts.
  • Engage with department managers to establish timelines and methodologies for budget completion.
  • Research and compile data to forecast and prepare annual and monthly budget estimates for a division or similar group.
  • Monitor revenue and expenses monthly, comparing actual figures to forecasts and making necessary adjustments.
  • Conduct economic research and studies regarding rates of return, depreciation, working capital needs, investment opportunities, and the impact of regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare management reports summarizing research findings, analyses, and evaluations of discrepancies.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accounting.
  • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and company accounting policies.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve issues using learned techniques and tools.
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute work to meet critical deadlines.
