Job Overview

About the Role

This full-time position is available for the entire school year and offers multiple openings with varying caseloads. The ideal candidate will work closely with students to enhance their speech and language skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify areas for improvement in speech and language.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans to meet each student's unique needs and objectives.
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to improve articulation, language comprehension, and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care for each student.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to stay updated on the latest therapy techniques and best practices.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active State Speech-Language Pathology License.
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience is desirable.
  • Experience with various treatment approaches and modalities, including AAC, PROMPT, and social communication interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, teachers, and parents.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and organized records, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
What We Offer

The salary for this position is estimated at $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
