Job Title: Assistant Geologist

At Terracon, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Geologist to join our team. As an Assistant Geologist, you will play a critical role in evaluating and interpreting subsurface field and sampling data to develop conclusions concerning environmental and geologic site conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct field monitoring and testing of soils, including boring investigations and soil type classification.
  • Interpret soil, bedrock, and groundwater elevation and quality data.
  • Prepare written plans and reports related to site investigations, assessments, and remediation activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering and environmental scientist staff on projects.
  • Operate field monitoring equipment and assist with operation and maintenance of remediation and instrumentation systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable violation history.
