About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at Norton Healthcare. As an Inpatient Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Dispense, compound, label, store, and ensure the proper use of pharmaceutical preparations
  • Contribute to the efficient operation of the department and direct the Pharmacy Technicians
  • Advance the goals of Norton Healthcare by providing pharmacy-related education to pharmacists, technicians, and other healthcare practitioners
  • Exercise leadership in matters related to the medication use process for patients of all ages
  • Support and facilitate the Quality Improvement (QI) process through ongoing development and monitoring of performance improvement indicators
  • Growth and facilitation of Pharmacy work teams to meet quality, clinical standards of care

Qualifications
  • Required: Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy, Registered Pharmacist in the state of Kentucky (KY)
  • Desired: Doctorate Degree, Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist
