Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats functional impairment through the application of physical medicine and rehabilitation modalities, provides individualized goal-directed treatment to promote movement, reduces pain, restores function, and prevents disability.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluates and treats patients with hand and upper extremity injuries or conditions
  • Develops and implements individualized treatment plans to promote functional improvement
  • Provides education and training to patients and families on proper use of splints and adaptive equipment
  • Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintains accurate and thorough documentation of patient care
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
  • Current licensure as an occupational therapist in the state of practice
  • Two to four years of experience in hand therapy
  • Current certification in CPR
