As a Meat Department Clerk, you will play a critical role in supporting the operations of our meat department, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support meat department operations, including receiving and stocking meat products, maintaining a clean and organized meat department, and assisting customers with their meat purchases.
  • Support meat department replenishment and inventory processes, including ordering and receiving meat products, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Support merchandising and sales floor standards, including maintaining a visually appealing meat department, and ensuring that all meat products are properly displayed and priced.
  • Adhere to meat department cleaning standards, including maintaining a clean and sanitary meat department, and following all company and food safety guidelines.
  • Follow company and food safety guidelines, and use only approved equipment and cleaning chemicals for cleaning procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a meat department or retail environment preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
