Job Title: Analytical Chemist I - 3rd Shift

We are seeking a highly skilled Analytical Chemist I to join our team in Billerica, MA. This is a full-time position working 3rd Shift, Monday-Friday, 10:00pm-6:30am.

The Role:

As a QA Chemist, you will be responsible for conducting QA testing and providing analytical support to production for our Micro-Contamination control and membrane products. You will prepare and test samples using various analytical instrumentation, including Ion Chromatography, TOC, FTIR, NVR, Karl Fischer, and ICP-MS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine QA product testing of filtration and membrane products from manufacturing.
  • Follow and document standard operating procedures for conducting required tests.
  • Prepare samples for analysis and load instrumentation.
  • Analyze and interpret test data, maintain documentation of test operation, and ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Remove and dispose of waste chemicals in accordance with company-established safety procedures.
  • Handle requests appropriately and in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.
  • Strong internship/co-op experience in a related field.
  • Strong scientific approach and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate and successfully work in a team environment.
  • A self-starter, with the ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and follow established protocol in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work 3rd Shift Hours (M-F, 10pm-6:30am).
