Day Program Lead and Supervisor

New Horizons in Autism, Inc. is looking for a skilled Day Program Lead and Supervisor to oversee the operation of our day programs.
This is a full-time, exempt position that involves ensuring the safety and well-being of each service recipient and participating in the development and implementation of skill acquisition programs.
Estimated salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per year.
Main Duties- To assume primary responsibility for the orientation, supervision, and evaluation of all staff within the community residence.
- To participate in appropriate meetings toward the development of ISP for the individuals in the program. Perform assessments and make recommendations for annual individual objectives.
- The Day Program Lead and Supervisor is required to adhere to New Horizons in Autism's policy on handling Life Threatening Emergencies.
- Education: High School Diploma, B.A. or B.S. in special education, psychology or social work or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Two-year experience working with individuals with autism or other intellectual disabilities. Two years of Manager/Supervisory experience required.
- Communication Skills: Must be able to respectfully communicate well both verbally and in writing with stakeholders, all levels of staff, family members, and community partners.
