Responsibilities

  • Perform non-invasive test procedures on patients to evaluate for peripheral vascular disease.
  • Function as a member of the hospital team, demonstrating clinical proficiency in the care of patients relative to their vascular testing.
  • Use technical processes, CQI processes, and hospital and community resources to plan direct patient care.
  • Demonstrate clinical competency in all modalities of vascular testing.
  • Use department and hospital-wide policies and procedures during the provision of patient care.
  • Be accountable for improving job knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

  • Diploma
  • One of: RVS or RVT or ARRT (VS)

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year in vascular testing
  • Registered Vascular Specialist OR Registered Vascular Technologist OR Vascular Sonography Technologist
