Job Summary

Palacios Marine and Industrial is seeking a skilled Pipefitter Specialist to join our team. As a Pipefitter Specialist, you will be responsible for manufacturing and fabricating finished metal products, installing and repairing various equipment and components, and ensuring that all work meets product specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products to meet product specifications
• Install and repair various equipment and components, including piping systems
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all work meets specifications
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
• Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
• Able to work at heights and in confined spaces

Requirements

• Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields
• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures, including MIG and TIG welding
• Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
• Ability to pass a hair follicle drug test and have a valid TWIC card
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
