Job Summary

Service Experts is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our field service team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of HVAC technicians and helpers to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Review and monitor upcoming work to be performed to schedule and assign technicians and/or crews to maximize productivity and meet customer needs.
  • Conduct regular meetings with technicians and helpers to review past performance, provide training and coaching, and reinforce safety rules and practices.
  • Assist technicians with major, unusual, or difficult assignments and conduct quality-control reviews of completed work to ensure it meets company standards.
  • Train employees on technical skills, company processes, and safety rules and practices.
  • Ensure delivery of excellent customer service and sustain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters and activities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED with additional training and 5+ years of experience in HVAC with technical training certification required.
  • Demonstrated basic leadership skills and ability to train others in technical skills and effective customer service.
  • Must possess all valid licensing or certification as required by federal, state, provincial, or local governmental laws or regulations for the geographical work area.
  • EPA and safety certifications required.
  • Advanced skills in servicing heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment as well as related accessories.
  • Proficient mechanical aptitude and ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed.
Working Conditions

The HVAC Operations Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to changing weather conditions, varying temperatures, and physical demands of the job. The ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and maneuver in attics, basements, and crawl spaces is required.
