Job Summary and Responsibilities

EVRAZ North America is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team in Denver, Colorado. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Field phone calls and provide pricing and assistance to customers
  • Cut scale commodity cheques and review for accuracy
  • Pay out suppliers according to their payment terms
  • Maintain office/scale house records and file all paperwork as needed
  • Accurately enter data into spreadsheets and company operating systems
  • Maintain an organized scale house and ensure all paperwork is up to date and filed properly
  • Maintain office equipment and keep required materials stocked
  • Ensure office supplies are fully stocked
  • Create rail car manual tickets during loading in the yard
  • Coverage for absences (sick, vacation, etc.) for scale operator/yard inspector/NF warehouse
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of experience working in an office setting
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work in variable weather conditions
  • Basic math skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Windows, Outlook and Excel
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and function well under pressure
  • Excellent customer service skills
Compensation and Benefits:
  • $22.60 to $25.30 depending upon experience
  • Bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance
