Job Description

Ryder System is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Loveland, CO. As a Senior Level Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repair duties, including routine preventative maintenance, basic diagnostics and repairs, and complex mechanical inspections and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform standard vehicle maintenance and preventive maintenance
  • Diagnose complex mechanical and electronic problems utilizing diagnostic computer when applicable
  • Complete complex and detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision
  • Replace defective components as instructed
  • Work unsupervised on most tasks
  • Perform facility maintenance duties
  • Interact with customers/drivers to properly determine nature of complaint once assigned a task

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications, preferred
  • Basic tools, required
  • Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines including routine preventative maintenance, basic diagnostics and repairs, and complex mechanical inspections and repairs
  • Three (3) years or more relevant work experience, preferred
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred
  • All other certification as required by location, required

Benefits:

  • Average Weekly Pay: $1320
  • Hourly Pay: $32.00 per hour
  • Quarterly Bonus: Ryder Pays you up to $500 Every Quarter - Four Times Per Year
  • Sign On Bonus: Ryder Pays You $1500 at 30 days and $1500 at 90 days
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday Weekends OFF
  • Hours: First Shift 7am - 3:30pm
