About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Holcim. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing electrical and maintenance processes through the proper installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all duties are performed in a work-safe manner, adhering to plant safety rules and working as a team member.
- Perform electrical repairs and installs within a manufacturing setting, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
- Understand and comply with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies, prioritizing the environment, health, and safety of the business.
- Plan and execute jobs, documenting new and existing electrical installations.
- Repair critical equipment with available parts and install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment.
- Work collaboratively within a team environment and independently, as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in an industrial environment, with a focus on electrical maintenance and repair.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in relevant software applications.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
