Job Title: Travel Nurse ICU Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Nurse ICU Specialist to join our team at a top-rated hospital in Utica, New York. As a Travel Nurse ICU Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.

Job Summary:

The Travel Nurse ICU Specialist will work closely with the ICU team to provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients. This is a 12-week contract position, working 36 hours per week, with a 12-hour night shift schedule.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the ICU team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the ICU team.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in ICU care.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in ICU nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of New York.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
