Job Title: In-House Attorney for Construction and Real Estate Litigation

AEC National Recruiters is seeking a highly skilled In-House Attorney to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing expert legal support on a wide range of litigation matters related to construction contracts and real estate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal support on construction contract and real estate litigation matters
  • Attend depositions, court conferences, and trials
  • Manage pleadings and documentary discovery processes
  • Evaluate liability and damages
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare persuasive briefs and motions
  • Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and paralegals
  • Review and provide legal advice on commercial transactions
Requirements:
  • Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice in New Jersey (required) and New York or Connecticut (preferred)
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on construction contract disputes
  • Demonstrated ability to strategize for litigation and perform oral arguments
  • Excellent understanding of legal principles and federal and state court procedures
  • Successful track record of trying cases to verdict
