Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and medicated creams to patients as prescribed by physicians and document administration according to policy.
- Maintain medication supplies, clean and restock medicine carts and medicine rooms.
- Notify pharmacies of new medication orders and refills.
- Perform accurate vital sign monitoring when indicated by drug therapy.
- Successful completion of a state-approved medication aide training course.
- Completion of a state-approved certified nursing assistant training program.
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant with one year of experience as a CNA.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients and visitors.
