Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Cashier to join our team at Holiday Station Stores in Williston, ND. As a Retail Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash, checks, and other forms of payment.
  • Perform multi-function duties, including fuel console operation, lottery machine management, and cleaning and maintenance of store equipment.
  • Inspect store facilities and equipment for safety, cleanliness, and proper working order, and report any issues to management.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and verifying vendor deliveries, and controlling merchandise and cash shortages.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager, including attending job-related meetings and performing tasks with minimal supervision.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent customer interactions and occasional exposure to extreme cold temperatures. The successful candidate will be able to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, and occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in retail sales preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to perform essential duties and physical functions with minimal supervision.
