Housekeeper Job Description

Located off I-376, our hotel offers convenient access to Pittsburgh International Airport via our free shuttle and is just 10 minutes from The Mall at Robinson. The UPMC Events Center and Robert Morris University are within 2 miles, while Downtown Pittsburgh and S&T Bank Music Park are 25 minutes away.

The successful Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guest and public areas of the hotel in accordance with franchise and corporate policies. This is a full-time and part-time opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean corridors, elevators, guest areas, service areas, linen closets, and other designated areas.
  • Fully stock and maintain chemical dispensers for the Housekeeping Department.
  • Assist Room Attendants as needed.
  • Operate and maintain housekeeping equipment, including carpet care and floor surface maintenance.
  • Remove trash and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Stock housekeeping carts for Room Attendants.
  • Perform laundry functions as required.
  • Wear required uniforms and maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
Requirements:
  • Ability to perform all essential duties satisfactorily.
  • Knowledge of housekeeping equipment and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
