Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise
    • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to improve research skills and document findings.
  • Client Management
    • Maintain confidentiality of client information.
    • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
    • Develop strong relationships with clients through timely communication and follow-up.
  • Business Development
    • Identify opportunities for practice expansion.
    • Develop a network of contacts and seek ways to increase firm visibility.
    • Represent YHB publicly through speaking opportunities and industry literature.
  • Personal Participation and Professional Development
    • Assume responsibility for career growth through personal development plans.
    • Seek additional responsibilities to enhance career and knowledge.
    • Participate in industry meetings and seminars.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant field.
  • Requirements to achieve CPA certification and/or other certifications.
  • High level of integrity and ability to respect confidentiality.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
