Role Summary -
We are seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Software Engineer to join our Advanced Compute and Solutions team. This role is crucial in safeguarding our components and ensuring the overall security of our solutions. The ideal candidate will operate autonomously, taking ownership of deploying security tools, enhancing our security posture, and supporting compliance efforts as we pursue Cybersecurity certifications. This position offers a chance to engage in diverse projects and requires a strong sense of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities -
As a Lead Cybersecurity Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing and maintaining security tools and protocols for AI and software development.
  • Collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to comprehend business needs and establish cybersecurity objectives for AI projects.
  • Consulting with HP's cybersecurity teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
  • Advising on architectural decisions related to software development.
  • Assessing vulnerabilities, threats, and attacks to evaluate risks and prioritize mitigation strategies.
  • Managing the resolution of security issues associated with vulnerabilities, incidents, and threats.
  • Providing cybersecurity insights to inform AI strategy and decision-making.
  • Fostering strong relationships with partner organizations.

Required Qualifications -
The successful candidate will possess:
  • Extensive experience in Cybersecurity and AI & Software Security.
  • Demonstrated expertise in AI architecture and engineering with a focus on technology integration.
  • Proficiency in AI and machine learning technologies, including deep learning, reinforcement learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
  • A comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity risks, threats, and preventive measures.
  • Solid experience in software architecture.
  • Proficiency in relevant programming and scripting languages (e.g., GoLand, Python, HTML, JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies for software development.
  • Knowledge of security standards and best practices.
  • Experience with popular AI frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for AI development and deployment.
  • A strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and asynchronous processing.

Educational Background -
The candidate should have:
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in software security practices.
  • Robust experience in software architecture and development.
  • Typically, a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

Compensation -
Our compensation structure reflects the labor market across various U.S. regions, with pay varying based on location and job-related expertise. The typical salary range for this position is $118,000 to $181,800 annually, with additional opportunities for bonuses and/or equity.
