Job SummaryThis role will serve as the primary interface for Enterprise Network and Unified Communications systems at First Interstate BancSystem. The successful candidate will be responsible for centralized administration, architecture, design, implementation, remote administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Network and Unified Communication platforms. Examples of Network and UC platforms include route, switch, security, cloud, datacenter, voice, video, conferencing, and monitoring. The position will require cross-functional and professional coordination with IT infrastructure teams, IT application teams, Development, IT Security, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, and direct users.
Key Responsibilities
Central architecture review, administration, planning, design, troubleshooting, and security of the enterprise data communications network: This includes all datacenter, branch, and cloud connectivity needs for the enterprise.
Fulfills customer requests for Enterprise Network and UC service needs. This includes end-user devices and peripherals.
Leads, plans, implements, documents, tracks, and monitors enterprise Network and UC projects.
Works closely with all areas of FIB support including servers, desktop, security, architecture, and help desk personnel to ensure all Network and UC systems are running/performing properly.
Required to stay abreast of technology needs and regulations of all software and hardware used by FIB.
May lead other employees, vendors, or contractors to accomplish project goals and timelines.
Documents procedures and guidelines.
May be required to work after hours to accomplish work tasks.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree from four-year College or University required
4-6 years experience in Information Technology or Information Systems required
Industry certifications will be considered including but not limited to: ACIS, ACSS, A+, JNCIA, CCENT, CCNA, CCNP, CCDE, CCIE, CCAr, etc. preferred
