Position Summary

An Electrical Apprentice plays a crucial role in supporting the installation of electrical systems in compliance with the National Electric Code, as well as project plans and specifications.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in Commercial Electrical Construction
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
  • Basic understanding of electrical circuits and wiring
  • Team player with a positive attitude
Key Responsibilities
  • Follow company safety protocols and procedures
  • Measure, bend, thread, and cut conduit for overhead and wall installations
  • Assist in various labor tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of diverse electrical systems and equipment
  • Install lighting fixtures and devices
  • Terminate electrical connections in panels, junction boxes, and equipment
  • Pull wires through raceways
  • Install panelboards and transformers
  • Test electrical systems for circuit continuity
  • Perform physical tasks including walking, climbing, lifting, reaching, bending, and kneeling, with the ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
  • Work in varying environmental conditions and temperatures
  • Utilize ladders, scaffolds, or aerial lifts to work at different heights
