Job Summary

Alpla Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Process Technician to join our team in the Injection Molding department. As a Process Technician, you will be responsible for conducting samplings for new parts and new molds, setting up and pulling molds for the injection molding process, and assisting engineering with production tool qualification procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct samplings for new parts and new molds to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Set up and pull molds for the injection molding process to meet production demands
  • Assist engineering with production tool qualification procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Collaborate with packaging manager and project employees to achieve production goals
  • Document machine and sampling records to track progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Maintain inventory lists of resin, colorant, tools, and other materials to ensure efficient production
  • Ensure the assigned machines and tools are in good working order and maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Injection Molding
  • Experience in Toolmaking, Mechanic, or Electric/Electronic systems
  • Able to work in a team environment and effectively manage time as a resource
  • Flexible work availability and ability to prioritize, plan, and execute duties with minimal supervision
  • Able to lift up to 60 lbs. and stand for a minimum of 10 hours
Working Conditions

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, reaching, and occasional climbing or balancing. The employee must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and occasionally sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 30 lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision.
