About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our team at Emerson. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for assisting with a variety of projects and tasks that cover a broad range of HR disciplines, including Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Learning & Development, and Talent Acquisition.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the HR team in various projects and tasks, including data analysis, report generation, and process improvements.
  • Participate in the onboarding process for new employees and provide support to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to gain a comprehensive understanding of the different specialties and functions within HR.
  • Analyze data, generate reports, and implement process improvements to enhance the overall HR experience.
  • Support system improvements and assist in investigating, resolving, and escalating HRIS issues.
Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree (students of any class status will be considered).
  • Zero (0) years of related experience.
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person at a Twin Cities location (Shakopee, Chanhassen, or Eden Prairie, MN).
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
  • GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Prior internship experience.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's in Business or Human Resources.
