Physician Opportunity in Kansas City Metro

We are seeking a skilled hospitalist physician to join our award-winning team in the Kansas City Metro area.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Admitting patients from the ED and direct admissions from outside providers
- Consulting with specialists as needed
- Managing a daily patient load of 20 patients per 12-hour shift
This is a day-time only position, with nights covered by nocturnists. Our team of NPs will assist with admissions and discharges, allowing you to focus on patient care.
We offer a competitive shift rate and a fair and equal distribution of patients and work. The ideal candidate will possess a Missouri medical license and an active DEA registration.
QualificationsTo be considered for this opportunity, you will need:
- 3-5 years' work experience in a hospital setting
- A doctorate degree in Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited university
- A current medical license (MD or DO) and unrestricted DEA registration
- A current Board of Pharmacy Controlled Substance Certificate of Registration
