Job Description

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in New York.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to work in a 150-bed facility in central New York. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in magnetic resonance imaging and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any emergencies that may arise
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
Requirements
  • ARRT-MR certification
  • BLS certification
  • State license to practice as a radiology technologist in New York
  • Ability to lift 50-100 pounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
