POTS is a dynamic and fun-loving pediatric multidisciplinary team dedicated to maximizing each child's potential. We are seeking an experienced pediatric physical therapist who wants to make a difference in children's lives and be part of our mission.

We have an experienced and dedicated staff that provides cutting-edge OT, PT, feeding, speech, and aquatic therapy in our state-of-the-art sensory gyms. Our clients range from birth through 21 years of age.

Job Description

We are looking for a per diem pediatric physical therapist with strong treatment and evaluation skills who can effectively work with infants and children in a sensory gym. The ideal candidate is a physical therapist with demonstrated leadership ability, who is upbeat, organized, self-motivated, and a problem solver.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of therapists and be part of a warm and supportive environment. We offer competitive salaries and flexible scheduling, including weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Cutting-edge evaluation and treatment
  • Prompt documentation in an EMR
  • Providing all clients with a home exercise program
  • Collaborating with parents and teachers to set functional goals
  • Providing ongoing guidance, support, and education to parents and teachers
  • Participating in team meetings and workshops
  • Participating in program development, such as summer camp programs and after-school groups
  • Educating parents, colleagues, physicians, and referral sources about the value of physical therapy for children
Requirements
  • Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
  • 3+ years' clinical experience beyond internships providing physical therapy to children with a wide range of challenges, including children birth to three
  • NJ Physical Therapy License
  • NJ school certification preferred
  • Desire to work long-term in a warm and supportive environment
  • Compassionate, caring, collaborative, and willing to go the extra mile for families
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
  • Ability to meet the child where they are and build a warm therapeutic relationship with the child and family
  • Ability to conduct assessments and evaluations using standardized evaluation tools and clinical observations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing education
  • Specialty certifications such as CNDT, DMI, Medek, or reflex integration a plus
