Forensic Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Forensic Psychologist to join our team at Centurion Health. As a Forensic Psychologist, you will play a critical role in providing assessment, treatment, and determination of appropriate dispositions for individuals who are mentally ill or have substance use issues and are brought before the Courts on criminal and/or civil matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide assessment, treatment, and determination of appropriate dispositions for individuals who are mentally ill or have substance use issues.
- Travel between courts throughout the work day to provide services.
- Conduct evaluations to determine the need for Emergency Hospitalization, Competence to Stand Trial or Criminal Responsibility Screening Evaluations, Evaluation of the need for Hospitalization of Mentally-Ill Prisoners, Determination of the Mental Condition of Witnesses, and Evaluation of the need for Commitment of Substance Abusers.
- Provide consultation to the court and help to facilitate and coordinate statutory evaluations assigned to colleagues.
- Triage cases and make referrals to community providers and services.
- Active licensed Psychologist by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or ability to obtain licensure within a reasonable timeframe.
- Current/valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Experience working with court-involved criminal defendants preferred.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
