We are seeking a skilled Aviation Technician to join our team at STS Technical Services. As an Aviation Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and inspections, trouble-shooting, repairing, and modifying airframe components and associated equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on aircraft, engines, and components
- Trouble-shoot and repair complex electrical/electromechanical issues
- Modify airframe components and associated equipment as required
- Operate and maintain company equipment, including pneumatic drills and rivet guns
- Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Valid Airframe & Powerplant License required
- Learjet 45 experience required; Learjet 35 experience a plus
- 7+ years of Learjet experience
- Avionics experience a plus
- High School Education or GED equivalent
- Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and portable stands without assistance
- Ability to work at heights up to 20 feet above the ground
- Ability to work in extreme heat and cold
- Ability to work in noisy, vibrating environments with proximity to moving mechanical parts
